| Greatest Life Accomplishment: | The way I see it, teaching and learning are synonymous and lifelong. My travels allow me to experience other cultures, ultimately better understanding myself. So far: Costa Rica, Mexico, Canada, France, Italy, Monaco, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Tunisia, & so many more to come..... | |
| How I got involved: | It was 2002 & I stumbled across the Aquatic Park Bocce Club in San Francisco. I had never seen traditional bronze ball bocce and was immediately intrigued. Soon the Italian immigrants were teaching me the fundamentals of the sport. Next I met a great younger player, North Beach native Marco Cuneo, who taught me bocce of the worldclass variety known as "Volo." One year later in 2003, I tested my skills at the US Nationals and won a gold medal. We went to the 2003 World's Championship in Nice, France where I saw bocce played at it's finest. Ever since I've been devoted to progressing the sport in the US. Now I am the president of the Aquatic Park Bocce Club, US national team captain, and my website features information and videos of world class action. (please see link below) | |
| Inspiration: | I inspire myself and believe happiness comes from within. It is my family, & especially my mother who has inspired a positive attitude through her demonstrated ability to overcome life's curve-balls. |
| Cause Related/Green Planet Efforts: | I prefer to walk, run, & ride. Think globally & ACT locally. I am a vocal advocate for alternative, free energy sources like Tesla's wireless transmission tower which feeds off of the unlimited electromagnetic portions of the Earth's atmosphere (ionosphere). I'm also a fan of the energy derived from water, the most powerful and abundant liquid we know. | |
