Completing first race. Meeting great people! Finding new products that I love to use while training and racing, like Metromint!!

Learning something new everyday, always finding something to laugh about, and just acting like a 10 year-old sometimes. Playing young, is staying young!

I swam for 12 years on my local YMCA swim team. It was a love/hate relationship. I missed being in the pool. My running background was purely in distance track events in middle school and high school. I ran for fitness, but it wasn't enough for me. I knew of Ironman triathlons when I was in high school. I loved when I came across it on the T.V. I knew I wanted to do it someday.

Then after I graduated from college, my girlfriend said, "you can do it, and I'll support you and be your biggest fan!" She has been there every step of the way, and has truly been my #1 fan!

I am inspired by people who never give up. Who give their heart and soul to what they are doing. Selfless people. Those who always believed in me and never gave up on me. I'm inspired by the little guy/girl fighting his/her way to the top! I'm inspired by change.

I pick up any trash that's in my path. In the past 2 months I have started unplugging appliances that I'm not using at the time, and turning off lights that I don't need.

My girlfriend lives near Kansas City, KS. I'm from a small town in Ohio. I came across Metromint in the organic aisle at a Kansas supermarket. The bottle design and different colors intrigued me! It stood out over all other mute colored drinks and organic foods. So I had to try it!

What a great taste! What a great feeling it leaves in my mouth! When I got back back to Ohio I feverishly looked everywhere for Metromint, but couldn't find it! So it became a routine/treat when visiting my girlfriend to get some Metromint while I was there!
