| How we got involved: | When we were dancing professionally and touring with a world famous magician (sorry, secrecy agreements prohibit us from disclosing the name), we sought out Pilates as a cross-training and "maintenance" regime for our bodies. Pilates kept us injury free throughout the tour and injury free throughout the Christmas seasons with the Rockettes. Thus, we wanted to share the benefits of Pilates with everyone. | |
| Inspiration: | Kimberly’s Inspiration: I am inspired by beauty in the performing arts whether it is dance, theater, opera or anything! I love to see human potential realized. Katherine’s Inspiration: Athletes and dancers that demonstrate a balance of strength and flexibility both amaze and inspire me. From Cirque de Soleil artists to classical ballerinas to the male gymnasts on the rings (who seem almost alien in their strength and flexibility), I love seeing fit bodies moving as we may not have thought possible! |
