raw nut milk

This is a great way to substitute dairy in your diet. It works well with hot or cold cereals, granola in raw recipes and great by itself. You can also make some of your childhood favorites like chocolate or strawberry milk “quick”, and without all the artificial stuff.
1C Soaked Raw Almonds, Cashews, Hazelnuts (soak in filtered water for 24hrs & rinse)
3-4 C Filtered Water
Place the soaked nuts into the blender with the water. Blend on high for two minutes until nuts are completely blended, smooth and creamy. Depending on which nut is used, it may still have small pieces of nut. You can strain through a fine mesh strainer, fine cheesecloth or a nut milk bag.
for Chocolate Milk, add the following and re-blend (it's best to start with almond milk):
1/3 C Raw Agave or to taste
1/4 C Raw Cacao Powder
dash of Cinnamon
for Strawberry Milk, add the following and re-blend (it's best to start with almond milk):
1/3 C Raw Agave or to taste
2/3 C Organic Strawberries
½ tsp Vanilla Extract or 1 Vanilla bean
